Look in my makeup bag

A staple in my makeup routine is a bronzer from the Covergirl Queen collection in  Ebony( pictured on the right). This product has been discontinued, and can’t be found in stores anymore. So I have recently been on the search for a good alternative. This Covergirl  bronzer is very pigmented and dark enough to really contour my brown skin. I love it so much, but I have to find something else.

So recently I tried a new bronzer from Fenty Beauty line in Mocha Mama.  I really like it,   the pigment is great, but it is matte, and it doesn’t have the same intensity as Covergirl.

Another old faithful that works well is a blush from Mac (Format). I used this many years ago, I went back to it in search for the perfect bronzer. It’s nice just as I remembered but not as brown as the Covergirl bronzer.

Becca sunlit bronzer in Maui Nights is another good product. This product is very pigmented, but it had more of a burgundy tone, still a very beautiful color.

Huda beauty bronzer cream to powder in medium. I’m not going to say that I’ve found the product to replace that covergirl but this is pretty close. I feel like this cream to powder product has been a missing link to my makeup routine. I love this product and highly recommend it. I am planning to try one shade darker ( I will update this post when I do). This is a really great product, but I still use my covergirl over it.

I did find more of the Covergirl bronzer on Amazon. It’s no longer called the Queen collection. Its called Covergirl Full Spectrum Bronzer, the color is still Ebony. To be honest this new product is still a little different, It just doesn’t seem as intense. So it’s safe to say that my hunt is not over, I’m actually having fun trying different brands and comparing them to my old Covergirl.
