So you may recall the “gas shortage” that happened earlier this month. I totally did not believe it when I first heard about it. I thought it was absolute fluff. My first thought was to stop watching the news because it is causing me to have unnecessary anxiety. I thought about filling up in spite of my disbelief, but the lines were too long, I would just get gas in the morning when the lines are shorter.
Well as you can already predict the lines were not shorter. They were 10x longer! Some gas stations were even out of gas! Why didn’t I just get gas the day before.
Procrastination has prevented me from doing so many great things. I would have earned better grades, saved more money, be in better shape and the list goes on. It is so easy to say that something can be done later, but later may not be the best time. I’ve decided to stop ( or at least slow down) how much I procrastinate. I don’t want to stress myself out by trying to do everything at once but I want to make realistic time lines and schedules so that I can be more productive. I have to stop thinking that I can do things later because later may not be an option.
So join me of my journey of less procrastination.
